Summer hasn’t officially begun until you grill some hamburgers outside and enjoy some fireworks.  Here are some places in Westchester where you can immerse yourself in live music, neighborhood gatherings and loud, colorful light displays!

Pound Ridge NY

Pound Ridge -179 Westchester Avenue.  Parking is at the Pound Ridge elementary school and is free for town residents ($30 for non-residents).  You can pick up your parking slips at town hall.  Parking will be limited for non- residents and strictly enforced.

Town of Lewisboro Annual Fireworks Spectacular

Onatru Farm Park for an evening of fun. The fee is $20 per car with parking and picnicking starting at 6 p.m. Entertainment starting at 7 p.m. and fireworks around 9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 2

Scarsdale Firework Spectacular

Scarsdale Pool Complex. The Westchester Band kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks beginning at approximately 9:15. A $5 fee will be charged to all non-pool members entering the pool starting at 5 p.m. for the scheduled fireworks, then all individuals starting at 8 p.m.

White Plains Independence Day Celebration

Yonkers – Cross County Shopping Center Fireworks & Concert Celebration

The FDR Drive Band will perform a concert from 6:30p.m. to 10 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks show to follow. The fireworks display will be in the north parking lot, but you will be able to view them from anywhere in the mall. Free to the public!

Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department’s Carnival & Summer Nights on the Sound

Join the Mamaroneck Fire Department for their carnival Friday, June 28 through Saturday, July 6. The carnival opens at 6:45 p.m. at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck. The carnival will open early at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 4., leading up to a fireworks display will take place over the Long Island Sound at dusk. This also kicks off Mamaroneck's Summer Nights on the Sound" concert series, which has three more follow-up dates through the end of the month. The fire department will additionally hold their Independence Day parade on Monday, July 2 at 7 p.m. from Mamaroneck Avenue School to Harbor Island Park.
